Augustine's No. 4
Augustins no. 4 is a nice and feminine vest with a full skirt and i-cord details along the edges. The model is knitted from the top down and is assembly-free. The back of the vest is knitted with an elevation - this is to make it longer at the back, which gives it a nice silhouette. The vest can be knitted in a sea of nice yarn combinations, and can be either light or full in expression, depending on preference - as long as the knitting tension is adhered to, the possibilities are many. With its stated measurements, the vest is a slightly short model in the front, which makes it suitable for wearing a shirt underneath, for example. Increase the length of the skirt if the vest is desired to be longer - remember to calculate extra yarn consumption.

Work: The front and back of the vest are first knitted separately back and forth in stocking stitch. Then the pieces are joined to form the body and then knitted in the round in stocking stitch. Before starting the skirt, an elevation is knitted at the back using the German short rows technique to make the vest longer at the back. The skirt is formed using increases and finished with an i-cord edge. Then, sts are picked up in the round along the armhole and then knitted on an i-cord edge. The same method is used at the neckline, which also has a finishing i-cord edge.
