The soft ISAGER SOFT with the brushed look is really popular, which is why we wanted to also introduce a thinner variation. ISAGER SOFT is made as a cotton tube, with fine alpaca fibers blown into it and can only be made as a thick yarn. ISAGER SOFT FINE is made with a silk core, where a thread consisting of Alpaca and Yak is first made as a bouclé and then brushed up.

It is therefore both a different production technique and fiber composition than ISAGER SOFT, but we think that the expression is similar enough that we can call it ISAGER SOFT FINE. ISAGER SOFT FINE contains yak ox wool, and in the same way, as we know it from our s-colours, where black wool is mixed with white to give a mottled yarn, it is now the dark color of the yak ox that gives life to the yarn. The soft look of the yarn makes it immediately look like Silk Mohair, but it is very different to knit with and easier to handle, if you only want to knit with one thread. The yarn is incredibly soft, and internally we call it "Isager's Cashmere".
