This sweater gives you endless opportunities to start your yarn stash, as well as get creative with pattern customization to make your sweater truly unique. No special yarn is required to get started – you can mix and match qualities and thicknesses, as long as you stick to the knitting gauge.

The cut is timeless and gender neutral. You can choose whether you want to finish with a boat neck, round neck or high neck. Maybe you don't want that many colors, or maybe you want more? Will there be too much pattern, or maybe you want to repeat one of the pattern boards more often, and cut one of the others? Do you want it solid color with only a couple of pattern boards at the bottom of the body, sleeves with the colors in reverse order? One pink and one green sleeve?

This pattern is designed to be easy to adapt – both in terms of pattern repeat and sizes. There are 24 stitches between each size. There are 12 stitches in each pattern repeat, which is approx. 6 cm wide. This means you can easily subtract or add 12 stitches to get a width that suits you.
