Our plaids are made from yarn spun at Hjelholt's Wool Spinnery - of course in 100% pure, new wool. Spun and woven in Denmark. The wool blend includes, among other things, wool from our own sheep as well as a lot of wool from Danish Gotland sheep. This checkered version was designed by Anne Birgitte Hansen for the Danish Gotländerforening. We have gradually collaborated with the association for several decades and a couple of generations. So by buying this plaid you are supporting a long history and many local workplaces.
