HOLLY SWEATER - CHILDREN - PAPER

Holly Sweater is a modern take on a classic Christmas sweater with a holly wreath around the yoke. The sweater is knitted top down with a round yoke.

Leaves and berries are knitted according to the diagram using the Fair Isle technique.

The neck and under the sleeves are knitted in reverse rows with German Short Rows, and the piece is started and finished with ribbed edges.

Inner sleeve length: approx. 20 (22) 24 (27) 30 (33) 36 cm

Needles: 3.5 and 4 mm, 40 and 60 cm and double pointed needles 3.5 and 4 mm

Knitting gauge: 21 mx 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch on 4 mm needles after washing

Yarn: 2 strands Merino (250 m / 50 g) or 1 strand Merino (250 m / 50 g) and

1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair (225 m / 50 g).

The model in the picture is knitted in Powder Blue (color 1), Bottle Green (color 2) and Pomegranate (color 3)
