Siri Neck is a simple pearl knit neck with three braids in the middle of the front and back. It is easy and fun to knit, and is a delicate extra layer under a coat.

Needles 5 and 6 mm.
Circular needle size 5 mm (40 cm) for the neckline.

Knitting strength
Nature: 15 mx approx. 22 rows db. moss stitch = 10 x 10 cm on 6 mm needles.
Knitted with 3 strands of yarn: 1 strand Alpakka Wool and 2 strands Alpakka Follower Thread*.
*The 2 strands of Alpakka Follower Thread can be replaced by 1 strand of Thin Silk Mohair.
The amount of yarn is approximately 35 g Tynn Silk Mohair.
Burgundy: 15 mx approx. 22 rows stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm on 7 mm needles.
Knitted with 2 strands of yarn, 1 of each quality.
Construction
Siri Neck is knitted in one piece. Start at the bottom of the front piece and knit to the beginning of the neckline. From here, knit each shoulder separately. Then cast on stitches between the shoulder pieces and knit the back piece. Finally, knit the neckline in rib. All pattern rows are shown in the diagram.
