Le Knit - Margaret Sweater - Paper
Margaret Sweater is a nice sweater to knit to use up mohair scraps. The sweater has a Fair Isle pattern on the round yoke, and in such a pattern both the base color and the pattern color change, but you always knit with a maximum of two colors at a time. To make it easy for you, the pattern contains five specific color suggestions.

Guiding pins
Circular needles 5 and 6 mm (40 and 80 cm).
Circular needles size 6.5-7 mm (80 cm) for the pattern.
Knitting tension 16 mx approx. 20-22 rows stockinette stitch with the base color = 10 x 10 cm on 6 mm needles.
16 mx approx. 19 rows stockinette stitch with pattern = 10 x 10 cm on needles size 6.5-7 mm.
This means that you should knit the pattern on ½-1 size thicker needles than the solid color. It is important for the fit that the pattern is not knitted tighter than the solid color.
Size selection
The Margaret Sweater is intended to have a positive ease of movement of approximately 15-30 cm. The brown one is shown here with a range of movement of 26 cm. The beige one is shown with a range of movement of 24 cm, the brown/pink one is shown with a range of movement of 32 cm and the light blue one is shown with a range of movement of 20 cm.
Find your bust measurement by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your torso). Then look at the measurements listed first in the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the sweater).
Range of motion (positive ease) is the difference between the measurements you have taken of yourself and the measurements of the sweater.
For example, if your waist is 94 cm, a size M will give you a range of motion of 18 cm (112 cm – 94 cm = 18 cm).
A size L will give you a range of motion of 23 cm (117 cm – 94 cm = 23 cm).
*Length is measured from the center back, not including the neckline. The sweater is relatively short, but can easily be knitted longer.
Construction
The sweater is knitted from the top down. The neckline is double and knitted together. After the neckline, work reverse rows so that the neckline is deeper at the front. Then work the round yoke with pattern and increases (both parts are shown in the diagram). Then work raglan increases before finishing the body and sleeves separately.
