The mittens are knitted from the top down with Fritidsgarn. The Christmas tree pattern gives the mittens a cozy Christmas atmosphere.

About the product

First, cast on stitches for the mitten itself. Increase stitches on each side of a marker stitch on each side. When all stitches have been increased, knit in the round according to the diagram. Then, knit a thread where the thumb should be. Decrease on each side of the marker stitches to get a better fit around the wrist, before finishing with a rib. Finally, knit stitches on each side of the thread for the thumb. The thumb is knitted in the round in stocking stitch. Finally, the mittens are felted on the machine.

KNITTING GAUGE: 15 stitches stocking stitch on needle size 5½ = 10 cm

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES: Circular needle or double pointed needles size 5 and 5½

Recommended needles: Needle no. 5½

Knitting tension: 15 stitches = 10 cm
