About the product
First, cast on stitches for the back piece, where the right and left shoulders are formed separately with reverse knitting needles, and the work is done down under the sleeves. Then, knit up stitches along the shoulders on the left and right sides of the front piece. The shoulders are formed with reverse knitting needles and stitches are cast on for the neck before each front piece is finished separately. The front and back pieces are knitted together, and knitted back and forth until the front piece is long enough for the zipper, before continuing to knit in the round to the full length. Knit up stitches around each armhole for the sleeves. Finally, knit the neckline in rib back and forth. Knit reverse knitting needles on the left and right sides of the neckline, so that it is higher at the front than at the back. Fold it down towards the wrong side and knit back and forth with decreases over the front edge to follow the deeper neckline. Knit up stitches along the sides of the front pieces where the zipper is to be installed. Sew the zipper on at the end.
