A small scarf in soft yarn is suitable for most people. Vita Scarf is knitted from the tip, so you can knit it as big as you want. Or as far as the yarn will go. Vita Scarf can be knitted in many different yarns. Here I show the scarf in 4 different yarns and sizes.

Scarf measurements

A, plum pink: Width after washing approx. 140 cm, height in the middle approx. 44 cm.

B, light gray: Width after washing approx. 120 cm, height in the middle approx. 34 cm.

C, camel: Width after washing approx. 75 cm, height in the middle approx. 23 cm.

D: Width after washing approx. 104 cm, height in the middle approx. 34 cm.

A: Sandnes Garn Mini Alpakka (100% alpaca, 50 g = 150 m) knitted together with Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 28% silk, 15% wool, 25 g = 212 m).

B: Knot yarn, organic 2-thread (100% wool, 100 g = 400 m).

C: Long Cashmere Premium (100% cashmere, 25 g = 115 m).

D: Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 28% silk, 15% wool, 25 g = 212 m) knitted together with Sandnes Garn Alpakka Follow Thread (100% alpaca, 50 g = 400 m).

Yarn quantity

A: Mini Alpaca fg 3553: 100 g, Thin Silk Mohair fg 3553: 75 g (50 g is enough if the scarf is knitted approx. 1.5-2 patterns lower).

B: Knot yarn, 2-strand, natural colour: 100 g

C: Cashmere Premium, camel 0039: 50 g

D: Thin Silk Mohair color 2511: 25 g, Alpaca Follower Thread color 2321: 50 g.

A: Circular needle size 5.5 (80 cm)

B and D: Circular needle size 4 (80 cm).

C: Circular needle size 4 (80 cm).

Knitting strength

A: 1 pattern = 9 cm in width on needles size 5.5 with 2 strands Tynn Silk Mohair and 1 strand Mini Alpaca. After washing and slight stretching in width: 1 pattern = 10 cm in width on needles size 5.5.

B: 1 pattern = 7 cm in width on needles size 4. After washing and slight stretching in width: 1 pattern = 8.5 cm in width on needles size 4.

C: 1 pattern = 6.5 cm in width on needles size 4. After washing and slight stretching in width: 1 pattern = 7.5 cm in width on needles size 4.

D: 1 pattern = 7.5 cm in width on 4 mm needles. After washing and slight stretching in width: 1 pattern = 8 cm in width on 4 mm needles.
