The dress is knitted top down in ALPAKKA SILK.

About the product

First, cast on stitches for the back piece. The back piece is worked back and forth with reverse needles to form a slanted shoulder, before it is worked down to under the sleeves. Then, knit stitches along each shoulder on the left and right sides of the front piece. Cast on stitches between the front pieces before the entire front piece is worked back and forth to under the sleeves. The front piece is then joined with the back piece and the piece is worked in the round. Increase stitches evenly down the skirt to the full length.

Knit stitches around the armhole for sleeves. The sleeves are knitted in the round and finished with a larger needle to add a little width.

The neckline is knitted at the end.

The model in the picture is 181 cm tall and is wearing size M.

Recommended needles: Needle no. 3, Needle no. 3½

Knitting tension: 27 stitches = 10 cm
