370 - AFTENSTRIKK PÅSKE
Please notice, this booklet is in norwegian.
Purchasing booklets from Rauma also requires purchasing at least 4 skeins of yarn from Rauma Garn.
This booklet was created in collaboration with Aftenstrikk - a small business run by Enya Ødegaard. Aftenstrikk creates the coziest patterns for cute and useful things for the whole family; toys, interior design and beautiful garments.
“I had the pleasure of creating this Easter booklet together with Rauma Garn. We wanted to create a spring booklet with simple recipes for most people. The booklet consists of small and large projects that can make Easter even more enjoyable, whether it's an Easter egg hunt in the garden, a crossword puzzle under a blanket on the balcony, an Easter walk with nice seating mats, or giving an Easter basket to someone you love.
My small business was started when I was on maternity leave and made recipes in the evenings, hence the name Aftenstrikk. I am passionate about making things that can last, and Norwegian wool and timeless knitting are some of the things I am most passionate about. I hope that this booklet can contribute to a sense of mastery, joy of knitting, spring mood and a nice Easter!” - Enya
The patterns are in Finull or Vams, which makes it easy to use up any leftovers from other patterns in the booklet. If you knit the blanket and have leftovers from it, you can knit eggs in single thread Finull, or embroider with it on other things. Or you can knit in double thread Finull and get the same knitting tension as with Vams. Then you can, for example, use leftovers for stripes on the seat pad, or knit a small bunny bag. If you have leftovers from the pillow bed in Vams, you can knit a pair of bunny ears, or a basket. The smallest leftovers can also be used as filling in Easter eggs.
Happy Easter! #raumagarn #eveningknit
