Key Mittens - Paper

Key Mittens are knitted from the wrist forward. The thumb is knitted on last. They are knitted on a long circular needle with the Magic Loop technique or on double pointed needles.
Size guide
Measure with a tape measure around the knuckle of your hand. Sizes 4-7 years (7-10 years) S (M) L correspond to a hand circumference of 14-15 (15-17) 17-18 (18-20) 20-22 cm.

Length of mittens: 21 (23) 26 (27) 29 cm
Knitting tension: 20 stitches x 28 rows in pattern and stocking stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needles: Circular needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm (80 cm) if you knit with Magic Loop technique, or double pointed needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm if you knit with double pointed needles
Materials: Base color (color of rib edge, thumb and tip): approx. 34 (44) 54 (62) 70 g Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 91 m) or Peruvian from Filcolana (50 g = 100 m)
Stripe color: approx. 18 (24) 28 (32) 38 g Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 91 m) or Peruvian from Filcolana (50 g = 100 m)
Please note that the yarn consumption is for one pair of mittens.
