Key Sweater Junior - Paper
The Key Sweater Junior is knitted top down with raglan increases. Reverse rows are worked along the rib edge of the neck to create the neckline. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round and both finished with a rib edge. The sweater is knitted with a two-tone stripe pattern.
Size guide
Key Sweater Junior should have a positive ease of approx. 25 cm in relation to the bust measurement. Sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-11) 11-12 years correspond to a bust measurement of 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is adhered to). If the recipient, for example, measures 62 cm around the bust, you should knit size 6-7 years. A sweater in size 6-7 years has an upper width of 88 cm and will in the above example give a positive ease of 26 cm. If the measured bust size deviates from the age guide, you should be aware of adjusting the lengths to the person you are knitting for. The same applies if the child is shorter/taller than average.
