Sycamore Sweater - Paper

The Sycamore Sweater is worked top down, first back and forth on circular needles to form the neckline, and then in the round on circular needles. The yoke is constructed so that shoulder increases are first worked on the right and wrong sides. Then sleeve increases are worked, and finally a section of raglan increases is worked. The sleeves are worked in the round on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique. The pattern on the Sycamore Sweater is created using shortened needles/reversible needles, specifically Japanese reversible needles.

Size guide

Sycamore Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to consider which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A sweater in size S has an upper width of 104 cm and in the above example will give a positive ease of 14 cm.
