Novice Sweater - Paper

Novice Sweater is especially aimed at new knitters. The pattern is written in detail without abbreviations.

Novise Sweater is a good basic sweater that is knitted from the top down. This means that you start by knitting the neckline, then the yoke, then the body and finally the sleeves. The sweater is knitted in stocking stitch, while the edges are knitted in rib. Novise Sweater has a round yoke. It is formed by knitting increases on four rounds evenly distributed on the yoke.

Size guide

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 85 (90) 95 (100) 110 cm. Novice Sweaters should have a range of movement (positive ease) of 5-10 cm. This means that if you measure 90 cm around the chest (measure yourself with a tape measure), you should knit size S which has a width of 98 cm.

Knitting tension: 16 stitches x 21 rows in stocking stitch on 6 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needles 5.5 and 6 mm (40 cm), circular needles 5.5 and 6 mm (80-100 cm), double pointed needles 5.5 mm
