September Hat - Paper

September Hat is knitted in the round on circular needles in English rib from the forehead up. To get a neat edge, use Italian cast-on. Decreases are worked at the top of the hat. Note that it is knitted with one strand of Sunday and two strands of Tynn Silk Mohair (or other yarn that gives the right knitting tension).

Note that when English rib is worked in the round on a circular needle, the English rib stitches on every other round will be knitted as knit stitches and every other round will be purled stitches. There are videos of the techniques used in the pattern at www.petiteknit.com.

If the knitting tension is followed, the width of the hat is 23 (23) cm when it lies flat and slightly pressed out to the sides.

Knitting tension: 12 stitches x 38 rows in English rib on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needle 4.5 mm (40 cm), double pointed needles 4.5 mm (unless knitted with Magic Loop technique)

Materials: 50 (50) g ​​Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) together with 50 (50) g ​​Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m), possibly thin elastic thread. Note that you knit with one strand of Sunday and two strands of Tynn Silk Mohair at the same time and that the yarn consumption indicates total yarn consumption.
