Terrrazzo Sweater Junior - Paper
The Terrazzo Sweater Junior is worked top down, first back and forth on circular needles to form the neckline, and then in the round on circular needles. The yoke is constructed so that shoulder increases are first worked on the RS and WS, then sleeve increases are worked, and finally a section with raglan increases is worked. The large polo collar of the neck is finally worked from open sts, and rib is worked with twisted sts. The sleeves are worked in the round on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique.

Terrazzo Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 15 cm in relation to the bust measurement. Sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-12) 12-14 years correspond to a bust measurement of approx. 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (78) 82 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is adhered to). If, for example, the recipient measures 59 cm around the bust, you should knit size 5-6 years. A sweater in size 5-6 years has an upper width of 74 cm and in the above example will give a positive ease of 15 cm. If the measured bust size deviates from the age guide, you should be aware of adjusting the lengths to the person you are knitting for. The same applies if the child is shorter/taller than average.
