Coast Bag - Paper

Coast Bag is knitted from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and knitted on double pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are knitted in lace pattern on circular needles. At the top, the bag is divided in two, and each part is knitted back and forth with decreases. The bag is finished with two knitted handles.

Height: approx. 40 (45) cm (excl. handle)

Knitting tension: 12 stitches x 18 rows in lace pattern on 6 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needle 6 mm (60 and 80 cm), circular needle 5 mm (40 or 60 cm), double pointed needles 5 mm

Materials: approx. 320 (530) g Juutti from Lankava (700 g = 315 m) or other jute yarn of similar length
