Amy Sweater - Paper
Amy Sweater is worked top down in stockinette stitch. First, the yoke is worked back and forth on the needle to form the neckline, and then the piece is gathered so that the rest of the yoke is worked in the round on the circular needle with raglan increases. The sleeves and body are finished with wide rib edges in double rib and a stockinette stitch edge. The polo collar of the neck is finally worked out from the open stitches.
Size guide
Amy Sweater should have a positive ease of movement of 20 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A sweater in size S has an upper width of 108 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 20 cm.
