Esther Vest is knitted from the top down in textured knit. First, the upper part of the back piece is knitted with increases. Then the shoulders are knitted from the open stitches at the top of the back piece. The body is knitted back and forth. A rib edge is knitted along the sleeve opening. Finally, button bands and rib edge are knitted at the neck.

Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the right gauge. You can knit a swatch according to the diagram in the pattern.

Size guide

Esther Vest should have a positive ease of approx. 6 cm. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished vest are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A vest in size S has a bust measurement of 96 cm and in the above example will give a positive ease of 6 cm.
