Cross Sweater - Paper
This recipe is in Norwegian.
The recipe has been developed in collaboration with the Red Cross. For each sale, 20 DKK is donated to the Red Cross.
Cross Sweater is knitted from the top down. On the yoke, as well as along the edges of the sleeves and at the bottom of the body, a cross is knitted. First, the upper part of the back piece is knitted back and forth, then the shoulders are knitted separately back and forth on circular needles. These are gathered at the front to form the front piece. The front and back piece are then gathered to form the body piece, which is knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted from open sts along the sleeve opening. The folded neckline of the neck is knitted in stripes and finally from open sts.
Size guide
The Cross Sweater should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 25 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Please note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is adhered to. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 95 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size M. A sweater in size M has an upper width of 120 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 25 cm.
