Agnete Cardigan - Paper
Agnete Cardigan is knitted from the top down in English rib. First, a piece of double rib is knitted that will sit at the neck and connect with the front edges/button bars. Then, stitches are picked up in this piece, and from this, the back piece is knitted. Then, the right front piece and the left front piece are knitted. These three parts are joined to form the body, which is knitted back and forth in English rib with front edges/button bars in double rib. Buttonholes are knitted along the double rib. Stitches are picked up in the armhole, and from these stitches, the sleeves are knitted.
Knit a test piece before you start knitting to find the needle size that gives the right knitting tension. Please note that the knitting tension in height (i.e. the number of rows per 10 cm) can vary depending on the yarn you are knitting in. The most important thing is that the knitting tension in width (i.e. the number of sts per 10 cm) is correct.

Size guide
Agnete Cardigan should have a positive ease of movement of 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to consider which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A cardigan in size S has an upper width of 105 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 15 cm.
