Celeste Sweater - Paper

Celeste Sweater is knitted from the top down with a round yoke. First, the neckline is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in the round in pattern according to the diagram with 5 different colors. Shortened rows/reversible rows are knitted according to the pattern of the yoke to knit the back higher and thus create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stocking stitch, and both are finished with a rib edge.

Please note that pattern knitting often requires a needle size 0.5-1 mm larger than solid color stocking stitch. Therefore, knit a test piece in both pattern knitting and solid color stocking stitch before you start.

Celeste Sweater should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 85 cm around your bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size XS. A sweater in size XS has an upper width of 100 cm, and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 15 cm.
