Celeste Christmas Stocking - Paper

Celeste Christmas stocking is knitted from the shaft down to the toe. The upper rib edge, heel and toe are knitted in one color, while the rest is knitted in Jacquard knit with 5 different colors. The heel is shaped with reverse knitting needles.

Please note that pattern knitting often requires a needle size 0.5-1 mm larger than solid color stocking stitch. Therefore, knit a test piece in both pattern knitting and solid color stocking stitch before you start.

22 stitches x 24 rows in stocking stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needles 3 mm and 4 mm (40 cm), double pointed needles 3 mm
