Celeste Sweater Man - Paper
This recipe is in Norwegian.
Celeste Sweater Man is knitted top down with a round yoke. First, a folded neckline is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in the round in pattern according to the diagram with 5 different colors. Shortened rows/reversible rows are knitted according to the pattern of the yoke to knit the back higher and thus create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stocking stitch, and both are finished with a rib edge.
Please note that pattern knitting often requires a needle size 0.5-1 mm larger than solid color stocking stitch. Therefore, knit a test piece in both pattern knitting and solid color stocking stitch before you start.
Size guide
Celeste Sweater Man should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to assess which size will fit best. If you, for example, measure 103 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size L. A sweater in size L has a chest width of 119 cm and in the above example will give a positive ease of movement of 16 cm.
