This recipe is in Norwegian.

Esther Jacket is knitted top down in textured knit. First, the upper part of the back piece is knitted with increases. Then the shoulders are knitted from the open stitches at the top of the back piece. The body is knitted back and forth. The sleeves are knitted in the round on circular needles from the open stitches at the sleeve opening. Finally, the button bands and rib edge at the neck are knitted.

Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the right gauge. You can knit a swatch according to the diagram in the pattern.

Size guide

Esther Jacket should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 24 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished jacket are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A jacket in size S has an upper width of 114 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 24 cm.
