Anker's Summer Blouse - Paper
Anker's Summer Blouse is knitted top down. The yoke consists of rib segments with increases, followed by rounds of classic raglan increases.
Size guide
The pattern takes into account that the blouse will grow a little with use (if the blouse is knitted in the specified yarn). When choosing a size, measure your bust/chest width (measure around the widest part of the chest) and knit according to the size that is closest to your own measurements. After you have worn the Anker's Summer Blouse for a few hours, it will expand and get the right (slightly looser) fit. For example, you can expect that a newly knitted size XS has a bust of 82 cm, while in use it will have a bust of approx. 88 cm (i.e. it "grows" approx. 6 cm). After washing, the measurements will approach the original newly knitted measurements again. The length of the blouse remains fairly constant. It is a good idea to try on the Anker's Summer Blouse as you knit, so that you achieve the perfect length for your body - some have a long torso, and some short.
