Ellen's Pick-up Set - Paper

Ellen's Pick-up Set consists of a jacket, pants and a hat.

The jacket is knitted back and forth on the needle, top down. It is closed along the left side. The button bands consist of 5 sts of rib and are knitted in one piece with the rest of the jacket.

The trousers are knitted from the top down. They are knitted higher at the back with shortened needles (reversible needles).

The cape is knitted back and forth from the forehead piece and back. The back of the head is knitted on double pointed needles with decreases. Then a rib edge is knitted along the neck, and finally a cord is knitted on the cape.

Sizes: 0 (1-3) 3-6 (6-9) 9-12 months.

Goal:

Jacket : width: 42 (45) 50 (52) 56 cm; length: 21 (24) 24 (28) 32 cm

Pants : waist: 38 (42) 45 (49) 52 cm; leg length: 13 (16) 19 (22) 25 cm

Knitting tension: 23 stitches x 32 rows in stocking stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needles 3 and 3.5 mm (40 and 60 cm), double pointed needles 3 and 3.5 mm

Materials: 150 (200) 250 (300) 350 g yarn (yarn consumption will vary with yarn type), soft trouser elastic (2 cm wide), 8 – 11 buttons ø = 12-14 mm

Yarn suggestion: Alpaca from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 110 m) or Duo from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 124 m) or Tussah Silk from Onion (50 g = 135 m)
