Friday Slipover V-neck is knitted from the top down in pearl rib. First the back piece is knitted, then the two shoulder pieces and finally the body. Finally, rib edges are knitted along the V-neck and armholes. The rib edge of the neck is knitted with decorative decreases at the center front.

Knit a swatch before you start. Note that pearl rib grows in washing/use. You can therefore calculate that the knitting tension before washing/use should be approximately 24-25 sts per 10 cm, and that after washing/use it will stretch to 22 sts per 10 cm. It is essential for the shoulder width and fit that the knitting tension is adhered to. Therefore, wash the swatch before measuring the knitting tension.

Size guide

Friday Slipover V-neck should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 6 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-50 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around your chest (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S, which has a chest width of 96 cm.
