Size guide

Hanstholm Sweater should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 6-13 cm in relation to the recipient's chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) correspond to a chest measurement, measured on the recipient's body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure the recipient before you start knitting, to assess which size will fit best. For example, if he measures 103 cm around the chest (or the widest part of the upper body), you should knit size L. A sweater in size L has an upper width of 115 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 12 cm.
