First, knit the back piece down to under the sleeves and place it on a thread. Then knit up stitches on each shoulder for the left and right front pieces. Bind off and increase for the neck, while at the same time knitting reverse rows with GSR for the slanted shoulder.
Each front piece is knitted together to form one front piece and knitted down to under the sleeves. The front piece is knitted together with the back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted in the round in cable pattern before finishing with rib. Knit up stitches around each armhole for sleeves. The sleeves are knitted in the round in cable pattern before finishing with rib. Finally, the neckline is knitted in rib and folded double towards the wrong side.
The entire dress is knitted with 1 thread of each quality.
