Size guide: Choose a size that is approximately 10 cm wider (positive ease) than your own chest measurement. The sweater is very elastic and can therefore fit both smaller and larger ranges of motion depending on the desired result. The garment's measurements are described above.

Bernie Sweater is a soft and elastic ribbed sweater. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. You start by knitting the body in the round, then you put on parts of the front and back pieces and knit these parts back and forth separately. The parts are knitted together over the shoulder by casting off the stitches with a 3rd needle. The rib will then meet the correct stitch on the other side, and you will get a nice and sharp transition. Bernie sweater has buttons at the neck, which brings out something nostalgic. The button placket is knitted in double knit, and attached to the sweater with mattress stitch. The sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knitted to the desired length. The sleeves should be extra long and folded double.
