The deep V-neck is knitted in double thread Önling no. 2. It is shorter at the front than at the back when using reverse needles, and otherwise has a loose fit. The V-neck starts far down, so the sweater is often worn with something underneath. There should be no picking up stitches along the neck, and it is therefore important to have straight edge stitches. The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up in stocking stitch until the neck starts, and then back and forth. It is turned to the wrong side before picking up stitches for the sleeves, which are also knitted with the wrong side out. The entire sweater is thus made with purl stitches, and with a nice textured line in stocking stitch at the front. The sleeves are wide and short, which goes well with the look of the sweater.
