Olga Jacket - Paper
Olga Jacket is knitted from the top down with stripes. First, the top part of the back piece is knitted back and forth, where the slope of the shoulders is formed with shortened needles (reversible needles), while at the same time the stripes are knitted. Then the shoulders are knitted separately back and forth on circular needles. The front and back pieces are then gathered to form the body, which is knitted back and forth on circular needles with stripes. The sleeves are knitted from open sts along the sleeve opening. Button bands and rib at the neck are finally knitted from open sts.
Size guide
Olga Jacket should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 23 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished jacket are stated on the front of the pattern. Please note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is adhered to. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 95 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size M. A jacket in size M has an upper width of 118 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 23 cm.
