This recipe is in Norwegian.

The Lyon Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the top part of the back piece is knitted with increases. Then the shoulders are knitted from the open stitches at the top of the back piece. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders, and the rest of the yoke is knitted together on circular needles, first back and forth and then around. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles, and the sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique. Finally, a folded rib edge with built-in double crochet is knitted in the neck opening. The Lyon Sweater is knitted with stripes, and the placement of these is indicated in the pattern.

Size guide

Lyon Sweater should have a positive ease of movement of approximately 20 cm in the smallest sizes, but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern. Note: These measurements only apply if the knitting tension is adhered to. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to assess which size will fit you best. If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A blouse in size S has a circumference of 108 cm and in the above example will give a range of movement (positive ease) of 18 cm.
