The Novice Cardigan – Mohair Edition is knitted from the top down. This means that you start by knitting the rib at the neckline, then the yoke, then the body and finally the sleeves. The cardigan is knitted in stocking stitch, while the edges are knitted in rib. The Novice Cardigan – Mohair Edition has a round yoke. This is formed by knitting increases on four rows evenly distributed on the yoke.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice Cardigan – Mohair Edition should have a positive ease of movement of approximately 10 cm (i.e. the cardigan should be approximately 10 cm larger than you in circumference). This means that if you measure 90 cm around your chest (measure yourself with a tape measure around your chest or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S, which has a chest width of 100 cm. This gives you a range of movement of 10 cm.

Yarn suggestions: 200 (200-225) 225 (250) 250 (275) 300 (325) 350-375 g Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m) or Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) or Tilia from Filcolana (25 g = 210 m) or Brushed Lace from Mohair By Canard (25 g = 210 m). Note that two strands are knitted at the same time and that the yarn consumption indicates the total yarn consumption. 9 buttons (ø = 15 mm)
