Le Knit - Peacock Shirt - Paper
The Peacock shirt is knitted from above, and the neckline is formed with the help of turning needles after the neckline is knitted. The simple combinations of openwork pattern and purl stitches on the yoke form a delicate structure, which is at the same time easy and entertaining to knit.

Size selection
The Peacock shirt is intended to have a positive ease of movement of 7-14 cm. It is shown here with a range of movement of 9 cm. Find your chest width by measuring around your chest (or the largest measurement of your upper body). Then look at the measurements that are listed first in the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the shirt). The positive ease is the difference between the measurements you have taken of yourself and the measurements of the shirt. For example, if your chest width is 94 cm, a size M will give you a range of movement of 11 cm (105 cm - 94 cm = 11 cm). The length is measured at the center back (incl. neckline).
Construction
Peacock shirt is knitted from the top down. After the neckline, reverse rows are knitted, which makes the neckline deeper at the front than at the back. Then the round yoke is knitted with the pattern according to the diagram, and finally the body and sleeves are finished separately in stocking stitch.
