Novemberknits - Montpellier Slipover - Paper
The Montpellier Slipover is an oversized, high-necked vest with ribbed sides that is worked from the top down. First, the back and front pieces are worked separately; the top of the back piece is worked back and forth before picking up stitches on each side to form the shoulder and neck cutout. Then the front piece is worked back and forth. Gradually, the stitches from the front and back pieces are gathered, and the body is worked in the round on the same needle. The body is finished with rib, and finally stitches are picked up for the neck, which is worked in rib and folded double. See recommended help videos at www.novemberknits.com.
