This recipe is in Norwegian.

Esther Sweater Man is knitted from the top down in textured knit. First, the upper part of the back piece is knitted with increases. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulders and gathered at the front to form the front piece. The front and back piece are gathered under the armhole to form the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are knitted in the round on circular needles. A rib edge is knitted at the neck.

Knit a test piece before you start, to measure the knitting tension – please note that the knitting tension in both height and width must be correct to achieve the measurements stated on the front. You can knit a test piece according to the diagram in the pattern.

Size guide

Esther Sweater You should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to assess which size will fit best. If you, for example, measure 104 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size L. A sweater in size L has a width of 119 cm and in the above example will give a positive ease of movement of 15 cm.
