The jacket is knitted top down in half English rib with Tynn Peer Gynt and Tynn Silk Mohair.

About the product

First, cast on stitches for the back piece, which is worked back and forth with reverse needles to form slanted shoulders. The back piece is worked down to under the sleeves with increases for armholes. Knit up stitches for the front pieces, which are worked separately with increases for the v-neck and armholes. The piece is then gathered onto a circular needle and worked back and forth with increases on the front pieces, before finishing with rib. Pick up stitches for the sleeves, which are worked in the round. Finish the sleeves with decreases and rib. Knit double-knit cord and edging along the front edges and neck to finish. Attach a cord to the side and a loop on the inside of the jacket, so that it fits well.

The entire jacket is knitted with 1 thread of each quality.

Semi-patent leather grows a bit in the wash. Wash the jacket and lay it down according to the stated measurements to get the right fit.

KNITTING GAUGE: 17 stitches and 44 rows half English rib on needle size 4 when the work is stretched slightly = 10 cm
