Le Knit - Scala Scarf - Paper

Scala Scarf is an easy-to-knit scarf that can be knitted in just the size you need – or as long as the yarn will last. For the cashmere scarves, I used 1 ball of 25 grams for the small scarf and 2 balls for the large scarf.

Scarf size, small

Height in the middle: approx. 17 cm

Width at top: approx. 74 cm

Scarf size, large

Height in the middle: approx. 24 cm

Width at top: approx. 105 cm

Yarn quantity, cashmere

Cardiff Cashmere Classic (100% cashmere, 25 g = 112 m).

25 g for small scarf, 50 g for large scarf.

The first two pictures show a large scarf in silver undyed fg 509.

The third picture shows a small scarf in silver undyed fg 509.

Yarn quantity, alpaca & silkmohair (small scarf in natural and large scarf in light gray, the last 4 pictures)

Sandnes Alpakka Follower yarn (100% alpaca, 50 g = 400 m), 50 g color 2321 or 1032 knitted together with

Sandnes Thin Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 28% silk, 15% wool, 25 g = 212 m), 25 g color 2321 or 1032.

Guiding pins

Circular needle size 3.5 mm (80 cm).

Knitting strength

23 sts stocking stitch = 10 cm in width on needles 3.5 mm.
