Terrazzo Neck Junior - Paper

Terrazzo Neck Junior is knitted from the back piece up towards the shoulders and down over the front piece. An opening is knitted for the head, where stitches are picked up for the polo collar. Terrazzo Neck Junior is shaped like a square on the back and like a trapezoid in the front.

Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the right gauge. Wash the swatch before measuring the gauge.

Knitting tension: 17 stitches x 24 rows in stocking stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking

20-22 stitches x 24 rows in rib (1 twisted K, 1 twisted P) on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking (knitting tension for polo collar)

Recommended needles: Circular needle 4.5 mm (40 cm and 60 cm or 80 cm)
