Berry sweater is a loose and elastic sweater in rib knit. It has a somewhat short fit, and therefore goes well with high-waisted pants. The sweater is knitted from the top down, with a high neck and pretty shoulder detail that is made in raglan along the way. After the neck is finished, stitches are first increased for the yoke and then for the sleeves. There are no turning needles in the neck, so the sweater is the same front and back. Berry sweater has a dense and wide rib at the bottom of the sleeves, which goes well with the otherwise loose fit. Since the entire sweater is knitted in rib, it can be easily shaped by steaming.

Pin size:

6 mm is used for the neck and bottom of the body. 7 mm is used for the yoke and body, in addition to the sleeves. Feel free to use a long circular needle, and use the magic loop technique on the neck and sleeves. Needle size 5 mm is only used at the bottom of the sleeves. Use either double pointed needles or a long circular needle as a magic loop.

Size guide:

Choose a size that is about 20 cm wider (positive ease) than your bust measurement. The bust measurement is measured around the chest, just below the armhole. This is the garment measurement described above.
