Monday Balaclava - Paper

The Monday Balaclava is worked top down in stockinette stitch. First, a square is worked to match the top of the head. Then, stitches are picked up on each side of this square and decreases are worked along the face opening. The balaclava is then worked straight down and then gathered under the chin to be worked in the round, before being divided into a front and back piece. Finally, a ribbed edge is worked in the face opening and an i-cord edge along the bottom edge.
