Ingrid Slipover is knitted from the top down in textured knit. First, the back piece is knitted, which is shaped with shortened needles/reversible needles to create a shoulder slope. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, and these are gathered at the front to form the front piece. The front and back pieces are gathered under the armhole to form the body, which is knitted straight down. Ribbed edges are knitted in the armhole and around the neck. Ingrid Slipover is knitted in textured knit, which consists of three different pattern segments. Between each of these, a segment with a lace pattern is knitted.

Knit a test piece before you start, to measure the knitting tension – note that the knitting tension in both height and width must be correct for the measurements stated on the front to be correct.

Size guide

Ingrid Slipover should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 20 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished vest are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting, to consider which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A vest in size S has an upper width of 108 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 18 cm.
