The Christmas stocking is knitted from the shaft down to the toe. The stocking is knitted in stocking stitch, and the heel is shaped with shortened needles (reversible needles). The stocking is finally felted before a leather strap is attached.

Knitting tension: 15 stitches x 21 rows in stocking stitch on 5.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needles: Circular needle 5.5 mm (40 cm), double pointed needles 5.5 mm (or a circular needle 80 cm, if you knit with Magic Loop technique)
Materials: 200 g Vams from Rauma (50 g = 83 m), core leather strap: 45 cm, 2 post screws
