Moby Slipover - Paper
Moby Slipover is knitted top down with textured and cable knit. First the back piece is knitted, then stitches are picked up to the shoulders, which are gathered at the front to form the front piece. The front and back pieces are gathered under the armhole to form the body, which is knitted straight down. Finally, rib edges are knitted at the neck and sleeve openings.
Knit a swatch to check what needle size you need to use to achieve the correct gauge - note that it may vary from yarn to yarn. Be careful when washing the swatch, as textured knits can shrink in the wash.
Size guide
Moby Slipover should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished vest are stated on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), you should knit size S. A vest in size S has an upper width of 102 cm and in the aforementioned example will provide a range of movement (positive ease) of 12 cm.
