VAMSET WINTER HAT - PAPER

Vamset Vinterhue is a soft and warm elephant hat in a nice structured pattern.

The hat is knitted from the bottom up. After the shoulder piece, it is knitted higher at the neck to create an optimal fit. The hat is then knitted back and forth and finally sewn together with stockinette stitch at the top of the hat, then a ribbed edge is knitted around the edge of the face.

The structural pattern is knitted by following diagrams.

Sizes: 6 - 12 months // 1 - 3 (4 - 6) 7 - 9 years

Approximate head circumference: approx. 43-49 // 49-52 (52-54) 54-56 cm

Stick:

Size 6-12 months: Circular needle 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm

Sizes 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9 years: Circular needles 6 mm and 7 mm

Knitting strength:

Size 6-12 months: 14 mx 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch on 6.5 mm needles Size 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9 years: 13 mx 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch on 7 mm needles Yarn: 1 strand Knitting for Olive Merino (250 m / 50 g), and 1 strand

Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (125 m / 50 g) and 1 strand Knitting for Olive

Soft Silk Mohair (225 m / 25 g).
