Cedarwood balls packed in a bag of organic cotton. Each bag contains 10 cedar balls.

Cedar wood protects textiles, because they are naturally repellent to moths and other pests. At the same time, the wood absorbs moisture and unwanted odors and thus keeps both knitting and clothes fresher for longer. Cedar wood is mildly aromatic and emits a pleasant scent.

Store the balls between clothes and yarn in small bags, and be careful to avoid direct contact between wood and textiles to avoid contamination from the wood's natural oils.

Over time, the balls will lose their scent and thus their natural ability to repel pests. When this happens, the scent can be brought back by lightly sanding the wood with fine sandpaper.
